Customer should supply us with their artwork on disk or email to us at art@westsideusa.com. If your supplied artwork requires any typesetting, changes, touchups, or doesn’t meet our specific requirements, we may need to modify your supplied artwork and charge you accordingly. Custom artwork will be billed at $65.00 per hour. The minimum artwork charge is $25.00. We will notify you of any art charges in excess of the $25.00 minimum prior to doing the artwork. Artwork will be sized to your specifications.
Camera-ready Art
Professional black and white mechanicals on glossy paper make good camera-ready art. Photocopies, pen and/or pencil drawings, Yellow Pages or newspaper ads, business cards, letterheads, and raised thermography are not considered camera-ready art. We can attempt to digitize these, but be aware that the quality is only as good as the material you supply us with. Please enclose your artwork in an envelope.

Westside USA reserves the right to reject any artwork not deemed printable. All artwork on imprinted items on this website is the property of Westside USA Embroidery. All artwork is kept on file at Westside USA.
Electronic Art
Westside USA Embroidery & Silk Screening accepts artwork for both embroidery and screen printing that is created in most professional graphic applications on either the PC or Macintosh platforms.
For multicolor logos, vector art created in Illustrator or CorelDRAW is acceptable. CorelDRAW files should be exported as Adobe Illustrator format (ai) with all text converted to curves.
Include all placed image files and any fonts used. A hard copy along with the disk is highly recommended to ensure output match. For 1/color imprints, a scan of good camera-ready-art is acceptable as long as the original scanned resolution is at least 500 pixels per inch at 100% imprint size.
For the photo image process, artwork can be supplied in any above formats or scanned graphic formats like eps, pcx, BMP, tif, and JPG, if the original scanned resolution of the art at 100% of imprint size is at least 200 pixels per inch.

Paper Proofs
If you require an actual paper proof, there is a $15.00 charge (black and white only). Changes to the actual proof are subject to possible additional costs. All proofs must be approved within 2 days of receipt or production schedule may be affected.
